This single-story Cottage consists of the main Thatched portion containing the oldest part of this property with Lounge/dining room and two bedrooms, In 1991 the whole roof was replaced with Thatch and timbers, when it was discovered that by taking out the old 1940s style fireplace the original “Ingle-nook” fireplace was there complete with a brick bread oven, which was exposed, by the owner who then installed a Wood burning Stove. At the turn of the 20th century a tiled kitchen area was added, which has now been suitably modernised, and also some time after the Second World War a Bathroom was added, thereby bringing all facilities inside making this property quite unique and very comfortable. It also has the added comfort of Gas central Heat- ing/ Hot water. Typical of this type of property all the rooms lead off one another, there being no hallway or corridor.
